There are many lochs to fish from Surrounding Bodavel holiday home (over 16) the largest of witch is one of the largest in Scotland, loch Awe at 26 miles long and up to one mile wide in places loch Awe is one of the most popular angling lochs in Argyll. Loch Awe is 16 miles from Oban and has easy aces as the public roads run around its perimeter. You can also hire boats from various places around the loch, the most popular being loch Awe boats at Adbrecknish. So if you fancy a bit of fishing for brown trout,  rainbow trout, salmon, perch, or pike then loch Awe is a must, although you will need to arrange a permit.
